Kathleen Hettinger

Kathleen is the secretary at Faith United Church of Christ in
Windsor.  A native of the Windsor area, she has been ringing
in the church bell choir for the past 20 years.  She's been
working with the youth bell choirs for the past 5 years and
finds their exuberance and adaptability a joy. On the
encouragement of her son, also a bell ringer and director, she
became a member of Bells of the Rockies this year.
With husband Tim, they raised 2 sons and now enjoy
spending time with their 4 grandchildren. Just to make sure
she is always busy, she loves to make wedding cakes.
David Leininger

This is Dave's 15th year of ringing handbells
and 4th year with Bells of the Rockies.  He
started in his Mom's church choir after they got
a set of bass bells and decided they were too
heavy to play!  They asked if he could count to
4 and he said 'yes' and they said 'ok, you're in'!
He found it to be far more fun than expected
and hasn't stopped ringing since.  Now he
dabbles in 4-in-hand and ensemble ringing but
still finds his home in the 'big buckets'.
